Founded in the summer of 2024 by Shaan Barai, Community Chronicles is a podcast dedicated to empowering youth entrepreneurs and celebrating the local business owners of Central Jersey. Through insightful interviews with successful entrepreneurs like Pamela Cooper of Cooper Interiors and Raj Agarwala of Kavyos Consulting, Shaan shares inspiring stories and practical advice to help the next generation turn their business dreams into reality.

Shaan Barai

Shaan Barai, a junior at the Pingry School, is dedicated to inspiring others in his community through various service initiatives. He started Community Chronicles, a podcast which inspires the younger generation to pursue their dreams and start their own business, out of a desire to provide mentorship to youth entrepreneurs like himself. He also is the Founder of the OneInMath Linden chapter, a math program specifically designed to support young, underserved elementary school students. Additionally, Shaan is the Vice President of Mind Your Money, an organization focused on teaching financial literacy to middle and high school students, empowering them with knowledge to make informed financial decisions. Outside of community engagement, Shaan enjoys traveling (and eating) around the world, investing, and taking care of his dog, Sully.
